Nex-Tech Internet Self-Installation Guide

Use this guide to install your Nex-Tech Gigaspire router.

Step 1: For the First Step locate an area in your home, preferably near the center of the residence, that has an ethernet jack and electrical outlet next to each other.  In some installations you may have what is called a "biscuit jack" that is mounted on the wall near the floor.

    Step 2: Connect the the router's WAN port to the Ethernet jack (or biscuit jack) with the supplied Ethernet cable. 

    Step 3: Plug the router into the power outlet.

When you first plug the router in, you will see an AMBER light.  Once the router starts trying to connect you will see a RED light.  Once the router finishes it's setup and is connected, you will see either a solid or blinking GREEN light.
