How to Change Basic Voicemail Settings

This is a quick guide on how to change your voicemail settings like password pin, name, greeting, and custom ringing.

Changing your password pin

Access your voicemail by using your home telephone by pressing *15 or you can access it by dialing your telephone number and at the messaging tone press * and then you will be prompted for your current password pin.
To enter the Mailbox Settings menu press 4 from the Main Menu.
In the Mailbox Settings you will want to select the Security settings by pressing 3.
From the Security settings press 1 to change your password pin.
At the prompt, using your telephone keypad, enter a new password pin, then you will be prompted to re-enter your password pin again to confirm.
You have now finished changing your password pin and will need to use the new pin to access your voicemail the next time.

Changing your name

Access your voicemail by using your home telephone by pressing *15 or you can access it by dialing your telephone number and at the voicemail message press * and then you will be prompted for your password pin.
To enter the Greetings Menu, press 3
In the Greetings Menu, press 3 to change the system generated message or your name.
To review or rerecord your name press 2, or if you want to change your name, press 1 and repeat step 3.
You have now changed your voicemail name.

Changing your personalized greeting

Access your voicemail by using your home telephone by pressing *15 or you can access it by dialing your telephone number and at the voicemail message press * and then you will be prompted for your password pin.
To enter the Greetings Menu, press 3
In the Greetings Menu, press 1 to setup a personalized greeting. Once you have finished recorded, press #.
If you want to save your greeting, press 1, or if you want to recorded your message, press 2 and repeat step 3.
You have now changed your personalized greeting.
