Programming the "LAST" Button
The LAST button should work on most all of the remotes, but if the LAST button doesn't seem to be working on your Amino set top box, please follow the steps below to reprogram the LAST button.
- Press and hold SETUP until it blinks twice
- Press 9 9 4 , you will get 2 blinks after pressing the 4
- Press SETUP one time and release
- Enter 0 0 6 0 2
- Press the LAST key and you should get 2 blinks
Disabling STB Power Button
This is only for silver Titan remote. These steps will allow you to disable the power button for the STB "Cable" function on the remote. These will also enable the master power function so the customer is able to turn the TV off without having to select the TV function.
- Press the STB "Cable" button, then press and hold Setup until STB blinks twice.
- Insert 9-9-5 into the remote
- Hit the Power button
- Hit the TV button
- Hit the Power button
- Hit STB "Cable" button
- Then hold the Setup button until the STB "Cable" button blinks twice.
Using the Master Power Key
The Titan Remote Control has a unique feature that allows you to sequentially turn up to five of your home entertainment devices on or odd with a single key press.
NOTE: MASTER POWER only works in the STB mode. In any other mode, pressing MASTER POWER once will turn the selected device on or off.
- Programming the Master Power Key
- Press the STB key.
- Press and hold SETUP . The mode LED blinks twice
- Enter 9 9 5 . The mode LED blinks twice
- Press POWER once.
- Press TV once.
- Press POWER once.
- Press another mode key ( AUX, DVD, AUD, or TV ) to add that device to the Master Power Macro.
- Press POWER once.
- Repeate steps 7 and 8 until you have added each device you wish to be part of the Master Power macro.
- To save the settings and exit the program, press STB once.
- Press and hold SETUP until the mode LED blinks twice.
- Using the Master Power Key
- Press STB once.
- Press POWER . The remote sends a power command to each device that was included in the Master Power Macro.
- Clearing the Mast Power Key
- On the remote, press STB once.
- Press and hold SETUP until the mode LED blinks twice.
- Enter 9 9 5 . The mode LED blinks twice.
- Press POWER once.
- Press and hold SETUP until the mode LED blinks twice.
How to Program Your Remote to Work with Other Devices
The Titan universal remote control comes pre-programmed to operate the set-top box. In addition, Titan can be programmed to control up to four (4) additional home theater equipment devices. Follow the steps below to program your remote to control other devices.

- Finding the Manufacturer's Code
First we will need to find the Manufacturer's Code for your device before programming your remote. Go to http://www.urcsupport.com/urc_product/titan-urc2056b0/ to search for your code. Follow the steps below.
- First select the type of device you are trying to program to your remote (Television, Video, Audio, etc.)
- Next, type in the brand name of the device under "Brand". The model number isn't required. Most brands use the same code on all models.
- Press the Search button
- You will now be given a code for your device. We will need this code in the next set of steps to program that device to your remote.
NOTE: Some brands may give more than one code. You can try entering your model number in "Model" if you have it. If not, we can try each code separately in the remote to find the one that works.
- Programming Your Remote
- Turn on all of the devices that you wish to control.
- On the remote control, press the mode key that you wish to program once (AUX, DVD, AUD,or TV, etc.); it blinks once.
- Press and hold SETUP until the mode LED blinks twice.
- Enter the five-digit code for your device that we found in the previous set of steps. If performed correctly, the mode LED blinks twice.
NOTE: If the selected mode LED emits a long blink, the entry is invalid. Repeat steps 2 through 4 and try entering the same code again. - Aim the remote control at the device and press POWER once. The device should turn off. If it does not, repeat steps 2 through 3, trying each code for your brand until you find one that works.
Searching For Code Function:
- Turn on all of the devices that you wish to control.
- On the remote control, press the mode key that you wish to program once (AUX, DVD, AUD,or TV, etc.); it blinks once.
- Press and hold SETUP until the mode LED blinks twice
- Enter code 991. TV button should blink twice
- Press one of the following buttons
- STB: 0
- TV: 1
- DVR/VCR/DVR: 2
- Audio Device: 3
- Aim the remote control at the device and press POWER once.
- Press CH+ slowly and stop when the TV turns off. Each button press attempts a code from memory
- Press POWER to turn the TV back on
- If the TV doesn't turn on during step 8 press CH- to go back to the previous code and then press Power
- Press SETUP once to lock in the code
Turn Your Set Top Box or TV On or Off
The device selection buttons tell your remote whether you want to control your set top box or your television.
To turn your TV on or off, press the TV button then the POWER button.
To turn your set top box on or off, press the STB button and then the POWER button.
Note: It is not necessary to turn your set top box off.
Note: Your remote control must have the remote code programmed in before it can send the correct signals for your TV. If the list of TV brand codes was not included in your installation pack, please contact customer service.
If pressing POWER turned the wrong device on or off, press the POWER button again, press the appropriate device selection button ( AUDIO, VCR, TV or STB ) and press POWER once more.
The Number Pad can be used to directly enter a channel number.
GUIDE will display Guide so you can find a program you like. If the program is on now, you tune to the channel showing it. If not, you can set a scheduled event to remind you when it does come on. If your set top box supports recording, you can schedule a recording for the program.

Adjust Volume
The VOL+/- button will adjust the volume gradually.
The MUTE button will toggle the sound on and off.
INFO displays the Infobar, a feature that lets you see information on what you’re watching, what’s coming on next, and what’s on other channels.
EXIT causes your set top box to exit whatever screen you are seeing and return you to normal TV viewing. If you ever get lost on a screen, it is always safe to press EXIT and then start over.

- Press 1 for TV
- Press 2 for DVD/VCR
- Press 3 for Audio
- Press POWER
- Press CH+ repeatedly until the device turns off
- Press SETUP when the device turns off
